About Gullesfjord Camping
Gullesfjord Camping is located in breathtaking natural surroundings deep inside a fjord inlet – on the threshold between the coastal shoreline and alpine mountains. At the same time, Route E10 is at our doorstep; we lie mid-way between Kiruna and Lofoten. We are near larger municipal centres: 23 km to Lødingen and 33 km to Sortland. Our facilities include 15 cabins as well as 55 caravan sites with electrical hook-ups. Our service centre has sanitary facilities including toilets, showers, a sauna, washing machine and tumble dryer. We also feature a large kitchen for food preparation and doing the dishes. We have a chemical toilet emptying point.

History
Gullesfjord camping began cautiously in 1959 – with a café and two small, woodstove-heated cabins. At the time, access to and transport in the fjord was by boat only.
When the main road was completed in 1964, the facilities were gradually expanded with several cabins and a sanitary building. Overnight accommodation was also added to the building housing the café.
In 1994, the main building was destroyed by fire. Following a lengthy rebuilding effort, the café and the new sanitary building were completed in 2003.
